Maior premiação da televisão americana, o Emmy acontece nesta segunda-feira (17) e elege as melhores produções veiculadas no período de junho do ano passado e maio desse ano. No Brasil, o canal pago TNT é quem transmite ao vivo o evento que acontece às 20h, em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos, com apresentação de Colin Jost e Michael Che, do Saturday Night Live. Quem não conseguir assistir, pode acompanhar a reapresentação que vai ao ar na terça-feira (18), pela manhã, ou no serviço de streaming TNT GO.

No tapete vermelho brasileiro, Carol Ribeiro e Hugo Gloss entrevistam as estrelas ao vivo, enquanto Domingas Person apresenta o evento do estúdio com comentários de Michel Arouca. Na internet, acontece uma live no YouTube no canal TNT Brasil, a partir das 20h, sob o comando de Diego Ferreira. Conhecido como Didi Effe, ele recebe uma turma de convidados para comentar os acontecimentos da grande noite: Carol Moreira, Mikannn, Nat Kreuser, Natalia Milano, Artur do canal Bilheterama, Alice Aquino, Mel do Yada Yada, PH Santos, Jessica Ballut e Fernanda Pineda.
 
Entre os artistas que vão entregar os prêmios durante a cerimônia do Emmy, estão alguns dos próprios indicados ao prêmio, como é o caso de Millie Bobby Brown, a Eleven da série Stranger Things. Além dela, também se destacam Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) e a dupla do Saturday Night Live Alec Baldwin e Kate McKinnon.

Queridinha dos apaixonados por série e com última temporada programada para 2019, Game of Thrones lidera a categoria drama com o maior número de indicações: 22. Já na categoria comédia, quem lidera com 16 indicações é a série Atlanta, protagonizada por Donald Glover, cantor responsável pelo polêmico e elogiado clipe This is America. Entre as minisséries, se destaca The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, aparecendo 18 vezes na lista.
